The latest from Rviewer – June 2021

Challenge library & candidates tracking

Last month we announced some changes in Rviewer that improved the candidate experience and in this release we bring you new features related to direct access to challenges and candidate status tracking.

We have enabled access to the challenge library from which our users can select one of the tests and invite the candidates they want.

On the other hand, we have created a notification system so that companies can have a more detailed tracking of all the processes that occur on the platform. Companies will be able to know at all times the status of each of the candidates in their dashboard area. Also, they will receive notifications when these statuses change.

Challenge library

Now from the Rviewer dashboard all users can access the challenge library and use any of the challenges to evaluate their candidates.

The library will grow as new challenges are released. In the library overview you will find information on:

  • Challenge Name
  • Description (what is challenge about)
  • Difficulty
  • Average time to solve
  • Level (junior, middle, senior)
  • Video intro to the challenge made by a Tech Mentor

How do I access the library?

From the assessments page, we have enabled a super button that allows you to create new assessments from the challenges.

How can I use one of the challenges?

The process is very simple, you just have to select the challenge you are interested in from the library and give it a name that helps you identify which assessment it corresponds to (e.g. Senior Java Developer). Automatically a new assessment will be created with that name and you will be able to directly invite candidates to take the challenge.

Soon we will be enabling new challenges in your library, stay tuned! Would you like to suggest a special language?  Let us know so we can prioritize it.

Candidates tracking

It is now possible to check the status of the profiles that have been invited to take part in a challenge. With the status, you will be able to know at all times and in detail how the technical validation processes are progressing. That's right: from your assessment you can now see which profiles have been invited, who has started the challenge and who has already been assessed.

What are the different states?

  1. 1
Invited: Candidates who have been invited to do a challenge (initial status of all invited candidates).
  2. 2
Accepted the invite: Candidates who have started to complete the challenge
  3. 3
Completed and Vetted: Candidates who have completed the challenge, have been assessed and have their report available within the assessment.

Email notifications

All Rviewer users will now receive notifications of changes in the status of their candidates directly in their e-mail inbox. Thus, they will receive notifications when:

  • One of the invited candidates starts the challenge
  • One of the candidates has already been evaluated and their report is now available on Rviewer.

As you can see, we continue to focus on delivering an unrivalled user experience, while adding functionality, notifications and management options for businesses within the tool.

Looks good, doesn't it?
